The 11th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge and the 6th Annual Classroom Slice of Life Story Challenge is two days away! Are you ready for March?
Announcements:
- Many potential new Slicers dip their toe into the water on Tuesdays in February.
- If you’re a first-time Slicer, please make note of that when you leave the permalink to your blog post. Also, you’ll want to check out this letter longtime Slicer Michelle Nero wrote to first-year participants a few years ago. It’s as relevant today as it was in 2014!
- If you’re a longtime Slicer, please make an effort to commenting on at least one new blogger’s post today. If you don’t see anyone new when you link up, then click on someone’s link who is new to you!

It is fun to write down our slices of life, we think nothing much happens but they do 🙂

Your students are lucky to have you. What a meaningful activity to do with them. (And I like the “Two Banana” song, too. It’s been that kind of week for me!)
You must have replied to me by mistake, I don’t teach in a school. What is the two banana song ? Regards 😊
How do you answer the question, “I am…..”?

Getting reading for SOLSC18: https://deowriter.wordpress.com/2018/02/27/sol18-two-days-and-counting/
I’ve been trying to access my blog today, and for some reason, it won’t let me in. I sure hope this gets fixed before 3/1. I’ve been a slicer forever. It will devastate me if I miss Day One. So anyway. I guess this is my mini slice wishing I could share at least a bit more. I’ll keep trying for the next hour or so. If you want to see some other writing of mine: iheartpurplestuff.blogspot.com.
I hope it works!
If you have to start a new blog, just email me with your new URL and I’ll update the participant info form on the back end.
I was able to get into it finally about two hours ago. But that idea of quickly setting up a stand-in blog never crossed my mind. I will keep that in my back pocket if I ever get into a pinch again. I was seriously stressing out last night. Thank you, Stacey!
I’m kind to people who visit my house…I promise!

Thanks for sharing my letter … I reread it tonight for myself and it’s the much needed inspiration that I needed — even for year #8 of the SOLSC!! Can’t believe it’s right around the corner!
Glad it igniting your desire to start another challenge, Michelle. 🙂
