  2. Totally forgot about the pledge. This was my first year but definitely not my last. I didn’t know if I could do it at first but I did! A post and at least the comments each day. And because poetry is my favorite way to write I now have 31 new poems thanks to this challenge.

  4. I was a first time Slicer and did post and comment on three other blogs each day. I plan on continuing with the Tuesday Slice. Thanks for this great opportunity and I can only imagine how much work goes into running this March Challenge. Kudos to all of you.

  5. I wrote very day in March, and it was so much fun. I loved discovering new blogs and commenting on them. I went from commenting on three blogs because I was supposed to, to conversing with new friends, and I looked forward to their posts every day. I often commented on far more than three blogs! There was one night, very late in March, when, at the end of a day that began at 5:00 and didn’t let up for a minute, I finished my post after 9:00 PM in California and the comments were closed. I thought I had until midnight here as well, so was disappointed to be unable to post that night. However I did write every day, and found so much satisfaction in doing so. I will be back net year.

  6. I completed my first year of the Slicing challenge by writing every day and commenting! I had so much fun and will cherish my reflections for years to come. From the time I was in middle school through my mid 20’s I journaled every day, but have been out of the habit for more than 10 years. Thanks for the opportunity to renew that passion.

  7. I sliced every day and commented too, year four for me. I love seeing the comments here from so many old friends and first time slicers. I’ll be looking for all of you on Tuesday! (Remember last year when the next day after day 31 was a Tuesday. Glad that won’t happen again for while.)

  9. Congratulations to all! I complete the challenge but I ask not to be put in for the prizes because one night I posted a bit after midnight. Not a big deal. I loved all of it and I obviously did not keep on writing for the prizes. Thank you all for your thoughtfulness and support! I will be back next March!

  29. I wrote, posted, and commented all 31 days. The writing did get easier and I hope to continue writing on my blog more often than I usually do in a non slice month. Luckily we are on Spring Break so I had 2 weeks of time to read more slices — it takes a long time to look through more than 200 slices a day. I read so many great ideas I hope to try in my writing in the future. Thanks for this wonderful challenge and to all the participants. 🙂

  30. I sliced, posted, linked up, and commented for 31 days straight! Oddly, two of the posts that I started as drafts at home before coming to Aruba posted as Friday, March 27th posts, but they were both finished and published on March 29 and March 31, so I don’t know what happened – it’s weird. This has been a wonderful experience again, though, and I thank the superwomen at Two Writing Teachers and all the slicers who encouraged and inspired!

  35. What a wonderful experience this has been! I blogged for 31 days, shared my link and commented on several posts every day. The real challenge was to not be able to read everyone’s post and comment on all of them every day. But then who would have done the laundry, shopped for food, made dinner, etc.? This was my first year but I am planning on returning next year as well as slicing on Tuesdays. Good luck to all of you…you are all amazing!

Since I was new to it this year, I figured I would try it myself! The rewards have been more than I could have hoped. I introduced my class to a blogging challenge for the month of April yesterday and I’m hoping the catch the blogging bug like I did. I look forward to more Tuesday Slicing! Thanks!
