Classroom Slice of Life Story Challenge: Day 24 of 31

Slice of Life_classroom image Black

It’s Day 24 Classroom Slicers! We are entering the final week. Have you said all you wanted to say?

Today, let’s shift focus once again to the comments we leave for others. Previously, I posted some tips on leaving comments that support narrative writing skill. In addition to leaving more meaningful comments, you can also challenge yourself (or, if you are a teacher, you can challenge your students) to leave more comments than ever before. Dana is hosting a second commenting challenge for the month. Perhaps classrooms can host their own commenting challenges with a special prize for the winner.

WRITE a slice of life story on your own blog.
SHARE a link to your post in the comments section.
GIVE comments to at least three other SOLSC Classroom bloggers.

Happy Slicing!

  1. Aww…back in school and back on track! One week left! We’re having a super-slicer day on Thursday to see if we can break our record of 24 published slices in one day, and we’re also passing out a piece of candy for anyone that leaves 10 comments between now and Friday (piggy-backing off some else’s idea here!). Hoping that helps the kids!

A special thank you to those of you that read and comment!
