It’s Day 15 Classroom Slicers!
I’ve written before about the writing class I took with the brilliant James Howe. We would often start class with a writing exercise meant to warm up our writing muscles. Once, James asked us to go on a virtual tour of our home, or our childhood house. He asked us to visit each room in our minds, and to think of moments or stories that occurred in each room. Then, he asked us to write the story of a moment that particularly inspired us.
Today as you look for moments to write about, consider going on a tour of your home. Notice moments, or even memories of moments, that occurred in particular rooms, and write away.
Happy Slicing!
