May how can you leave already? It feels like you just arrived. Really, our time together has passed too quickly.
I’m reminded of the importance of documenting the little things. The sweet smiles and silly sayings that fill my days will someday be replaced with requests for gas money and strenuous practice schedules. An abundance of hugs and goofy giggles that are so much a part of my life could someday be a rare treat rather than part of our daily routine.
So here is a plea to the other months. Will you please be kinder than May? Slow down a little and let me savor these days of little kids and writing stories and connecting to people. I need more time to soak up the joy of a really good life.

aw cute! I feel just the same. In my country, the end of May means end of summer, and start of the rainy seasons.

The summer months seem to offer a bit more time to savor these moments and create memories. Cheers to you and your little ones. Your voice is so full of love and appreciation!

I often don’t hold out much hope to have things slow down, but I like the way you said it. Enjoying the little things is important & it seems that you do it; but they too go so quickly.

Love the plea to slow things down a bit…maybe in June? 🙂
Glad to know we’ll get to connect soon, soon, soon to share stories!
