Today was a grey rainy day. After school and before we went to our friends’ house for dinner Sam and I played outside. In our rain boots (yes, his are on the wrong feet . . . but he did it himself!) we came across this little guy. I am reminded how sometimes hope is hidden among the grey. Spring is hinting and this month I’m determined to find it. I’m thankful to be slicing during this month of change.

One – thanks for commenting on mine and so many others slices. I know you put a lot of time into it…thank you!
Two – I was just noticing the other day how snow tends to whitewash the bleakness of winter. I’m very thankful for the cover-up because the dreariness I think might be too much to bear all winter.
Third – I am excited for spring to pop out soon too!

Love the picture! Need to learn how to use more graphics/photographs on my blog. Photos speak for 1,000 words.

It’s definitely a ‘slice’ of spring. Thanks for noticing.

I just drove home in slushy rain. I would give anything for boots (wrong feet and all) not to mention the signs of spring. Thanks for searching, sharing and showing us your discoveries!

I’m glad that you let him have his boots on the wrong feet. It’s part of watching kids grow up. I love that you put a picture with your slice. Some of my favorite pictures that I have in scrapbooks are zooming in on a one aspect, such as hands or feet – in some ways much like the objective of sols.

I think this picture reminds me of a past One Little Word picture you posted- with feet in a puddle? You know how to celebrate the best things in life! Thanks for giving me daily doses of positive thinking.
