Slice of Life Story Challenge

Tuesday means it’s slice of life story time!

A slice of life story is an anecdotal piece of writing.  It’s written in sequential order and is about a piece of your day.  Often, slice of life stories are narratives that frequently include dialogue.  A Slice of Life Story is essentially a look into someone’s life at a given point in time.

Our online community, which has grown in recent weeks, shares slice of life stories every Tuesday by posting a link to their story.  Additionally, members of the community read each other’s links and leave comments on each other’s blogs.  (If you’re posting a comment early in the day, on Tuesday, then be sure to check back later today or tomorrow to read and comment on other people’s stories.)  The comments can be a reaction or connection you have to someone’s writing or a compliment about the author’s writing.
