Spring Cleaning (Ruth’s SOLS 20/31)

Today we did a little Spring Cleaning and a bit of organizing. The kids cleaned their rooms. Andy did a couple of “handy-man” projects around the house. I organized my studio — again. It seems every few months I change things a little in there to make myself more effective when I create. It feels good to get the winter gear put away, to open the curtains and let the sunshine stream in, and to tidy the house. With each passing day I’m more excited about Spring.

  1. Maybe your writing will inspire me to do a little spring cleaning. It has inspired me in so many other ways in the last couple of years!

  2. Decluttering! Every so often it’s a necessity. I like the challenge of some unknown expert who suggested we dispose of ( trash, give away, whatever) 50 items. Books and magazines only count as 1, no matter how many you weed out. Sometimes that last 4 or 5 is tough, but I give myself plenty of time!

  3. Yes. I like everything with spring connected to it, even cleaning. I let myself believe that winter was over yesterday. Today Tuvia’s job will be to clean out the fireplace and I will put in the candles. I will miss the fires there. Something to enjoy about next winter.
Have another great day in spring!
