Just a reminder for those of you whose student teachers are finishing soon: remember to get him/her something. As you’ll see, I put in some practical stuff, as well as some funny things (we have a joke about eye cream and mints).

What a fantastic gift, Stacey! When I completed my student teaching, my mentor gave me a copy of “Four Wings and a Prayer” inscribed with a message. The class moms gave me a “teacher bag” with practical items. I still cherish both gifts, and my mentor teacher is one of my best friends now!
