Making a List. Checking It Twice.

I created a large checklist, which I’m going to post in the classroom on Monday, to help my students get ready for Tuesday afternoon’s Poetry Publishing Party. I realized yesterday, when I saw one of my students walking around with his Poetry Portfolio Guidelines Packet that the kids really needed a list since there’s a lot of stuff that has to go inside of their Portfolio. Hopefully posting the chart (below) and making mini versions of it for each student will help them all as they determine whether or not their portfolio is ready.
