First, I decided it would be appropriate for me to do some nurturing… after all, I want to make sure that anything I create / write during this Challenge goes through the writing process since I wouldn’t want my students to just go straight to developing their poem. Therefore, first, I collected some ideas about questions I could ask in my poem for two voices. I thought it through and began to develop two ideas, one of which I later turned into a poem of its own.
All this being said, this is what I came up with this morning. (It’s still in DRAFT form seeing as it’s far from what Wayman accomplished in his poem.)

I love that you include your process notes along with your poem. I’ve never read a poem like this before and the idea is just great.
Your answers — the yes and the no answers — ring so true. Nice!

I have to stop myself from saying some of those things out loud. That sarcastic response is sometimes so automatic in me!

Stacey,
I love the contrasts. Gives you pause as to why do what you do? I wonder here if it might be interesting to create a podcast with another voice.
