Slice of Life Story Challenge · SOLSC Classroom Challenge

Day 8 of the SOLSC: Classroom Challenge Sunday!

Welcome to Day 8 of the March Challenge. Please leave a link to your slice in the comments below!

Today is also our first Classroom Challenge Sunday! Today, I encourage you all to take an extra moment to cheer on our under-18 participants. Each Sunday, I’ll highlight one class, but please share some love with all of our student slicers! If you are a teacher posting a link to student writing today, please start your comment with CLASSROOM CHALLENGE in all caps to make it easier for slicers to find your students.

A personal win: While I’m slicing alongside my Kindergarten students and the 2nd-5th graders in our school’s Author’s Club, I’m proud to be joined by 15 additional classes of student writers in grades K-5 at my school this year! While most of these writers are writing in print and won’t be sharing their work digitally, know that the Classroom Challenge is in full effect around the world!

BE INSPIRED

Natasha Domina is a teacher in South Bristol, Maine. Her 3rd and 4th graders slice on this padlet. Take some time today to leave a few comments for these young, inspirational writers!

Looking for more student writers? Check out this list, or search the comments below for “CLASSROOM CHALLENGE.” Since this is the first Classroom Sunday, I’m still locating all of our kid-slicer URLs. I’ll add to the list throughout the day as I check the comments!

  • Erika Victor’s 5th Graders in Cambodia slice on this padlet.
  • Natasha Domina’s 3rd and 4th graders in the U.S. slice on this padlet.
