SLICERS! I’m delighted to be back with you today. It’s been a long time since I’ve written. While I’m past the worst of surgery and treatment, I’m feeling up to writing with this community again.
Here’s a quote about stories you might want to ponder.
It’s healing to read stories about healing. It’s nourishing to read stories about people finding nourishment. It’s life-changing to read stories about people changing their lives.
Katherine Center — The Love Haters, page 304
Will you write about healing or nourishment today? If not, perhaps you’ll leave comments on some slice-of-life stories that heal or nourish you today.
Please link up below.
Write. Share. Give.
If you’re planning to be at NCTE and you’re interested in meeting up with fellow slicers, please fill out this form. We’d love to get together in Denver!

Today I am reflecting on the kind of passion for life that drives humans to practice their violin without being nagged or getting paid. I wonder if that is the same force that also drives recovery from serious illness? I think it might be called a passion for life..
