Welcome to Day 9 of the March Challenge. Please leave a link to your slice in the comments below!
Today is also our first Classroom Challenge Sunday! Today, I encourage you all to take an extra moment to cheer on our under-18 participants. This year, unlike in the past, students are slicing alongside us in March, and they’re off to a great start! Each week, we’ll highlight one class, but please share some love with all of our student slicers! If you are a teacher posting a link to student writing today, please start your comment with CLASSROOM CHALLENGE in all caps to make it easier for slicers to find your students.
BE INSPIRED
Natasha Domina is a teacher in South Bristol, Maine. Her 3rd and 4th graders slice on this padlet. Take some time today to leave a few comments for these young, inspirational writers!
Looking for more student writers? Check out this list. I’ll add to the list throughout the day as I check the comments!
- Mrs. Levin’s 1st-5th Graders, IL
- Mrs. Wood’s 5th and 6th Graders
- Mrs. Thomas’ 2nd Graders, Kirkwood, MO
- Author’s Club, 1st-5th Graders, Kirkwood, MO
- Ms. Domina’s 3rd and 4th Graders, South Bristol, Maine
- Ms. Victor’s 5th Graders in Cambodia

I’m still finding my way around Substack. The notes confuse me a little. Where do they go? Why don’t they show up mixed in amongst the rest of my posts? Are the notes I’ve put up really supposed to be posts? Oy. My current anxiety is manifesting in this note and in the one I just posted on y page! https://substack.com/@staciegirlgriot/note/c-99315268
