Today’s inspiration comes from a recent J. K. Rowling tweet. I love this because I am reminded that I’m not alone when I struggle to select and arrange the words on the page. Hope you’ll share a slice today.

NCTE News!
Will you be going to NCTE in Atlanta? Are you a slicer? If you answered yes to each of these questions, consider joining us for dinner on Saturday, November 19th time and location TBD soon!
FAQ’s
-
May I come if I only slice in March, but not year-round?
-
Yes!
-
-
What should I bring?
-
This is a dutch treat dinner, so please bring cash. This makes it easier on the server when it comes time to divvy up the check.
-
-
What should I wear?
-
Whatever you’re wearing to the conference! No need to dress up for the conference.
-
-
I’m attending the conference with a colleague who doesn’t take part in the SOLSC. May I bring him/her?
-
As long as s/he starts slicing by the end of October, then s/he is welcome. We’re an inclusive group, but we don’t want the dinner to get too big. Therefore, we’re trying to limit it to people who regularly take part in the year-round and/or March challenges.

If you are interested in sharing a meal, then please fill out the form below and Betsy will email you with more details!
