Classroom Slice of Life Story Challenge: Day 29 of 31

It’s Day 29 Classroom Slicers!

There are three days left in our month-long writing challenge. The countdown is on. Have you met your own personal writing goals? Are there still subjects or formats you would like to try? If you haven’t tried poetry yet, why not give it a go!

You might try mentoring yourself from a published poem, perhaps lifting a line or modeling the format of the poem. I mentored myself using a poem from Ralph Fletcher, you can read about it here.

WRITE a slice of life story on your own blog.
SHARE a link to your post in the comments section.
GIVE comments to at least three other SOLSC Classroom bloggers.

Happy Slicing!

    1. My plan is to do a poem a day in April then encourage Tuesdays. Some of my students do not want March to end. Isn’t that great?
