I will be using this with my fourth graders.

This is very helpful. We are deep into memoir right now. I don’t usually teach this unit to third graders, but this class seemed ready; maybe it’s just that I was ready this year. 🙂 Our third grade definition of memoir is “a memory of a moment.” i notice their writing is suddenly growing by leaps and bounds! This checklist is inspiring and will be a good road map for my mini-lessons. Thanks, Stacey!
