Such a great way to look at all the shades of a color, Stacey. Thanks so much for hosting these wonderful challenges. I feel so privileged to have stumbled onto your blog and to have met so many talented and creative people through it.

I also love the color green. My car is green, and my nickname is Grasshopper Green. The nickname comes from a poem I recited in sixth grade. I also have a green sofa, green towels, and a green Ipod skin.

Thanks for the poetry challenge. It has been a great stretch for me and has given me lots of new stuff to use in the classroom.
I like the way you are putting the scrapbook touch to your poems. I am going to have to buy a digital scrapbook program! I bet your students love it!
