Oh, you reminded me that I haven’t visited any of my favorite spots on the Lower East Side in far too long. When I first moved to NYC, I lived on Ludlow Street, and had an excellent bakery around one corner, a great bialy place around another corner, and a yummy kosher pizza place down the block. Maybe next weekend I can get over to Katz’s for a pastrami sandwich!

Nothing like a nice trip to the deli. I wish we had more choices in the place where I live but we don’t. Just a few neat neighborhood groceries.
