TeachersCount

I receive the “TeachersCount” Newsletter each month. I just learned about their blog, which is looking for newer teachers to write one post/week. Since this is a blog about writing and teaching, I thought I’d give a shout-out to their call for new blog writers. Here’s what TeachersCount put in their newsletter:

TeachersCount is looking for a new teacher/blogger for the TeachersCount blog. We already have a seasoned teacher (Ms. Esther Wojcicki of Palo Alto, California) working on the blog, so we would like to add a relatively new teacher to the mix for contrast. If you’re chosen as our newest blogger, you’ll be expected to write one post per week. Ideally, your posts would be a mix between your experiences as a teacher and your thoughts on larger matters in education. If interested, please send an email to naoma@teacherscount.org. Naoma will advise you on how to proceed with applying for the blogging position depending on the volume of responses.

Good luck!

While you’ve over on their site, check out “Ways to Thank A Teacher.”
