Eight months post-surgery and still deep in recovery, I’m realizing just how unpredictable this process can be. Yesterday, I went to a senior swimming meet with all the last dives, speeches, flowers and worries that come when a new chapter is starting. I am pretty sure, though, we can learn a lot about handling life in the pool.
