ATTENTION CLASSROOM TEACHERS: Please leave the total number of students you have who are blogging (and linking) daily.  Kindly leave this at the same time that you post the link to the round-up of your students’ slices.  (I will need this for a Classroom Commenting Challenge I’m holding this week.)

Details:

  1. If your students are slicing from their personal blogs, then you should link their blog posts together using your classroom or personal blog. Then, share the unique URL to the location of the “round up” of student slices. (Click here to find out what a unique URL is.)  Remember to post one unique URL and use the same username/email to log so your comments will appear instantly.
  2. Only post the link to your students’ slices of life here. Do not post the link to your personal slice of life stories here. Post your personal slice of life story over at the daily call for individual slice of life stories.
  3. Any questions, please contact one of our concierges. (Click here for more information on how to work with our concierges.)

  1. I have around 10 students slicing consistently. It’s just that some are on paper, and some are on blogs, but are doing it totally on their own, which is impeding our link-up process!

  2. I am posting my round-up here. I have seven students consistently leaving their links in the comments. I don’t have any yet today because I beat them all this morning. We don’t have school today so I will be excited to see who is the first to link. Thanks so much for all of your comments! It’s fun when they come running in in the morning to tell me who commented on their blogs. They haven’t quite gotten the bug for commenting on other blogs outside of their friends’ yet but we are working on it.
