I’m trying to compile a list of professional development opportunities for teachers. I posted about it last month and got a few responses (Thanks!).  However, the list is short and certainly not comprehensive as it stands.  Therefore, if you know of summer p.d. for teachers of writing, please post a comment on this post.

  2. I’m excited about the Heinemann Katie Wood Ray workshop that will be in Asheville, North Carolina, in late June. A group of teachers from my school, Carolina Friends School, have signed up to attend together. The topic is Developing Curriculum for Writing Workshops.
