Unscramble the Teacher’s Motto

When I moved to RI, I borrowed a motto from a former colleague, Halli, in New York. She had a BIG sign over her door that read, “We will work hard, but we will have fun.”

I was playing around with Wordle tonight and created a scrambled motto for my class. I’m thinking about attaching it to a News & Announcements Chart at Morning Meeting to see if they (in small groups) can unscramble the motto since I often write it at the bottom of my Morning Meeting Charts.

  4. this epitomizes not only how i try to look at my work, but how i want my students to view life, learning, school, endeavors that challenge them to grow: hard fun. now it’s up to me to provide them with said worthwhile challenges.
