Write. Share. Give.

Today marks the 7th day of the Slice of Life Story Challenge! After posting today’s link, take a moment to celebrate an entire week of writing!

Write your slice of life story.
Share the link to it on the daily call for slice of life stories.
Give at least three other Slicers comments on their blog posts.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Every Tuesday throughout the year, our writing community meets up for weekly slicing. On Tuesdays in March we post about slicing swag. If you are inclined to show your commitment to this challenge with some new apparel, tech gear, or jewelry, then visit our Cafepress store where you can purchase t-shirts, coffee mugs, water bottles, keychains, and more. These are definitely conversation starters, and all proceeds from our Cafepress store are donated to the Pajama Program.

BE INSPIRED

Slicer Cindy Hjorth wrote the sweetest piece called “First Dance” about how a family movie night turned into a special milestone for her family. Her piece is the perfect reminder of the way writing can preserve a precious moment. May Cindy’s writing remind all of us to slow down and capture the special memories that surround us through our writing.

ICYMI: We are excited to host several Slicing Workshops throughout the month this year. For more information, please head to this explanation or start with Melanie Meehan’s video explanation.
