Welcome to Tuesday’s Slice of Life Story Challenge. Below you’ll find a quote by Maya Angelou. May it inspire your thinking and writing for today’s story challenge. Please join us.

Wow! I realized I’d forgotten to provide a Slice of Life story until I saw Dolly Parton on Stephen Colbert. So I’m providing a heavy metal song that I wrote in the late ’80s about the unsuccessful invasion of Japan by the Mongol Empire in the late 1200’s. It is so Iron Maiden-ish! https://bohemiotx.wordpress.com/2020/03/18/when-japan-defeated-mongols-by-j-d-meyer-performed-by-mongrel-catharsis-1988/
