BE INSPIRED

I’ve found myself finding it challenging not to write about the current situation we are all facing in my own slices. Slice of life writing is about our everyday moments every day. With the current crisis on our minds, it finds its way into our everyday stories as well.
My inspiration for you on my final day of hosting the challenge this month is a poem from Naomi Shihab Nye about a time at Gate A-4. Although the story is about connection with others, something we cannot do physically right now, the story inspires me whenever I read it and always gives me hope for the future. Here is the link to the narrative poem, Gate A-4 by Naomi Shihab Nye. May it bring you hope and inspiration as we continue toward a goal of 31 days of writing together.
