Day 9 of the March 2020 SOLSC #SOL20

PRIZE ANNOUNCEMENT

Yesterday, I announced the SEAT prize. If you have made it through the first week, slicing every day and commenting daily on at least three other posts, then you are eligible for the SEAT Prize. Fill out the form by midnight for a chance to win a SEAT Prize!

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • We have several people who slice late. If early slicers have a chance to circle back and leave a comment or two for later members of the community, it adds to the fun and the camaraderie of the month.
  • I posted several great examples of slices of life yesterday. If you’re having a hard time finding stories in your day, you might be energized by those posts.
  • PLEASE make sure to leave the link to your POST and not the drafting link that’s only accessible to you. This is especially important for WordPress users.

BE INSPIRED

Sometimes other posts are inspiring. Here’s one that made me laugh. Emily Culbertson’s slice reminds me of the days of carseats when I was running on empty.

  1. Thanks, Glenda. I’m looking into it at the support desk. I don’t know how or if I changed the commenting settings!

    1. If you want to change the permalink, you can do it. Just repost the NEW permalink as a reply to this comment. I know we ask people not to post two links, but I can image why you’d want to switch this one. 🙂

      1. Thanks! Actually, I’m not overly worried about the permalink, since I changed the title. Day 8, day 9…the earth is billions of years old. I can shrug off a mistake this big 😉

    1. I’ve tried several different days to comment on your blog, but it sends me to a message telling me to login or sign up for edublogs. I think you need to check your settings to allow commenting outside the edublogs community.

    1. I’m having trouble with leaving a comment. I’ve tried logging in via Twitter, but I keep getting redirected to Disqus and the wheels just keep turning and don’t allow the comment to post. Would you be able to open up your commenting settings so its easier for folks to leave a comment without a login?

Here’s the essence of my comment:

We’re about to have some painting done so I’d be most appreciative if you told me who makes the Ocean Swell since it’s beautiful. Great job with the repainting!
