Welcome to the thirty-first and final day of the 12th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please allow all of us at Two Writing Teachers and the entire Slicing Community to say…

Thank you to Our Welcome Wagon Volunteers!

Also, remember, if you plan to enter your classroom into the Classroom Slice of Life Story Challenge, you can access our padlet here:

Made with Padlet

Finally, be sure to tune in tomorrow to enter your name for prizes if you sliced everyday during the month of March!

BE INSPIRED

Balancing background information with a slice of life can be tricky.  Check out how blogger and slicer Jennifer Kesler pulls it off with her post entitled, “I Love Surprises!”  You can read her post here.

  1. Day 31 – This was my original post that I wrote in my head back in February, but life actually got in the way and I wrote about what my life was like today instead of what I thought my day would be like in February. So I decided to write this original post anyway!

  2. Much gratitude to you all for the inspiration. This was my first rodeo and it was absolutely worth the effort.

Special thanks to Juliette who inspired me to give this whole thing a go. And Andrea, who, like clockwork, was there 31 times to offer encouragement and feedback.

    Keep writing, everybody!

    1. Hi Joanne. I couldn’t find a place to leave a comment on your post. No matter what the weather is like Mother Nature has her own timetable and plants respond to that. Looking forward to garden pics.

    1. Yep… I’m shaking my head at your final thoughts Brian… I wrote early, I wrote later, I never plan a slice but later was sometimes easier… I loved reading and commenting… I accepted it too that I didn’t write 31 slices.. and I’m looking forward to composing slices on Tuesdays… so see you back here soon.
