Write. Share. Give.

Welcome to the twenty-eighth day of the 12th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

The great soccer star Pele once said, “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”  With only four days left, let perseverance be your mantra.

If you and your students plan to participate in the Classroom Slice of Life Story Challenge, remember it begins immediately after the adult challenge ends on April 1st!  You’ll find the padlet to enter your class information here:

BE INSPIRED

On day 14 day of the March challenge, Jennie Bless-Symonds wrote a small slice entitled, “Apple Pie.”  Without using character names, she drops us immediately into the action, using sensory detail, keeping the writing short and crisp.  Check out her post here for inspiration.

The difference Between something good and something great is attention to detail.
