BE INSPIRED

There’s something meditative about reading Maureen Ingram’s slices on her blog,Writing Beside Me. Perhaps it’s the way she’s centered herself in silence after a noise-filled classroom day, or that she let the wind carry her troubles away on a walk to school. Perhaps it’s in her observations, which are captured through a poet’s eye. Perhaps it’s that I can find a bit of myself in Maureen’s writing.

Though Note to Self is written from Maureen, to Maureen, it’s a note that many can relate to. If you’re needing a bit of extra motivation to keep going in this final week, I highly recommend reading it and even writing a note to the writer in you.

Maureen reminds herself, reminds all of us:

“Writing is healing.
You owe this to yourself.
You deserve this.
You must keep writing.”
