BE INSPIRED

Slices that feature the same characters each day begin to feel like chapters in a novel, with new releases awaiting us each morning. Kay Strenio-Anagnost has accomplished just that on her blog, Vovome. Readers are quick to grow fond of Kay’s son, Kojo, as if he were the main character in a treasured book. Kay’s posts can be read in isolation (one of my favorites is Look Up), but it is a treat to carve aside some time to begin with her first slice and read on.

Kay describes the name and heart of her blog:

Vovome in the Ewe language in Ghana means something like freedom. Hearing the word said aloud makes your body move. This blog is all about movement and observation. As I join the Slice of Life challenge, I hope to document the walks I take in my neighborhood in Accra, Ghana. Walking with my 2 year-old, gives me lots of time to notice.

Kay, your readers hope our walks with Kojo do not end in March!
