Write. Share. Give.

Welcome to Day 19 day of the 12th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge! Please check out today’s announcements and the “Be Inspired” post and quote before you leave the permalink to your slice of life story.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

SLICER SWAG!

Do you need some Slicer swag? Visit our Cafepress store where you can purchase t-shirts, coffee mugs, water bottles, keychains, and more. All proceeds from our Cafepress store are donated to the Pajama Program.

BE INSPIRED

Leigh Ann Eck, who blogs at A Day in the Life, does a fabulous job of creating tension in her post titled I Have a Secret. Notice how she intentionally leaves out information to build suspense and make the reader wonder what the secret will be? And then how she leads us in one direction, away from the answer to the question, only to come back to it at the end? If you’re looking for something to try in an upcoming post, this may be your next mentor text.
