Welcome to the eighth day of the 12th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!

Reminder: Please leave your link between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. EST each day. If you miss the window and the next day has arrived, please leave the link to your slice on the current day’s call for slices. We try to close comments near midnight each night but often times we are sleeping and do not close them until early the next day.
