Welcome to the fourth day of the 12th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge! Please check out today’s announcements and the “Be Inspired” post and quote before you leave the permalink to your slice of life story.

There are two great ways to find Slicers’ whose writing you’d like to read.

  1. Read the teasers each person posts with their permalink. Click on any link that has a teaser that interests you. (NOTE: If you’ve been dropping your link without a couple of lines to set up your post, consider adding a little bit of copy before you leave your link.
  2. Leave a comment back for anyone who comments on your post.

After mulling over a suggestion from Elisabeth Ellington about helping newer Slicers get more comments, the team thought it would be nice to help people find each other based on the number of years they’ve been participating. Seasoned slicers (i.e., people who’ve been doing this for six or more years) might seek out some newer Slicers. People in their first few years of participating in the Challenge might want to check out the writing of people who’ve been at this a bit longer than they have been. Therefore, Kathleen set up a Padlet to help people find each other based on years of participation. If you’re interested, please leave the link to your blog’s landing page (e.g., https://raisealithuman.wordpress.com/), not the permalink to one of your blog posts (e.g., https://raisealithuman.wordpress.com/2019/03/02/date-night/), on the Padlet if you wish to participate.
