Welcome to Slice of Life!
I am sharing a screenshot of an important reminder from author Anne Lamott. At Ted.com, she has thirteen more reminders about living the life of a writer. If you need inspiration, head on over!
- Write-Write your story.
- Share-Share it as a comment.
- Give-Comment on at least three others’ slices.
I’m a day late, but I’m posting anyway! https://alotalot.wordpress.com/2018/11/21/slice-of-wednesday-life/

One reflection on NCTE. Still processing it while I read my students’ writing.
Many thanks to those who met up for dinner. IT was good to see you all.

The Camp Fire raging 90 miles to the north of me in Northern California has been weighing heavily on my mind. So far, the death toll stands at 79, hundreds are still unaccounted for, and thousands are now homeless. My heart aches for all those affected by this devastating fire.
