Somehow, I’m guessing that this community is not one that needs reminders to vote, but maybe we all need inspiration and energy to encourage everyone around us to get to the polls today. During a time when it’s hard to know where to begin to take action, voting matters more than ever.
And now on to writing—
WRITE a slice of life story on your own blog.
SHARE a link to your post in the comments section.
GIVE comments to at least three other SOL bloggers.
If you are a slicer and you will be at NCTE in Houston, please join us for dinner. IMPORTANT: I will be giving the restaurant a final number on November 10.
Good to read the slices, thank you.

Managed to write despite my serious election-watching. Was good to reflect on a poetry unit that is not progressing as well as I would like. Bonus: you can read three lines of a sound poem! http://persistenceandpedagogy.com/2018/11/06/sweet-sweet-sweet-sweet-sweet-tea/
