Welcome to the twentieth day of the 11th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!
ANNOUNCEMENTS
It is my last day hosting the March SOLSC individual challenge for 2018! Melanie will take over the charge as we get closer to the finish line! Also, be sure to check out the winner of our big weekend commenting challenge prize reveal!
BE INSPIRED
Two bits of inspiration to get you through the day.
Visit Amy Rudd from The Rudder. Back on March 3, Amy was inspired by the rolling leaves and wrote a little slice of life poem describing their movement. I loved how the leaves came to life with so much purpose and renewal in her poem, Free Leaves.
Below is also a line from Mary Oliver’s, “At the River Clarion.” The quote, by itself, makes me think of this challenge and how sometimes it might feel like we have imagined every story but when we get to that moment, we just need to keep going.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
Stacey streamlined the essential information this year into a slideshow for easy access to frequently asked questions and information. If you need to refer back to any of the basic information about the challenge, click here to view a brief slideshow.
Need to contact a co-author with a question? Please email us rather than leaving your question within your comment (below). Thank you, in advance, for your patience. We receive a high volume of emails at different points within the challenge window.
- If your last name begins with the letters A – I, please email questions to Betsy, betsymhubbard{at}gmail.com
- If your last name begins with the letters J – R, please email questions to Melanie, meehanmelanie{at}gmail.com.
- If your last name begins with the letters S – Z, please email questions to Stacey, stacey{at}staceyshubitz.com.
Please note: We’re unable to respond to challenge-related questions via Facebook and Twitter.
