DAY 14 OF THE MARCH SOLSC! #SOL16

Welcome to Day 14 of the 9th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!

If you’re participating in the individual Slice of Life Story Challenge, this is where you share your writing.  If you’re sharing your students’ slice of life stories, please head over to the Classroom Challenge.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Many of you subscribe to Two Writing Teachers blog so that you receive the daily call for Slice of Life Stories (and our other content year round) straight to your inbox.  Over the last week, we have received emails from various Slicers stating that you did not receive the daily email.  We are not sure why this is happening, and we believe it may be a glitch within WordPress.  However, please know that the call for classroom Slices goes live every night at midnight, and the call for the individual challenge goes live at 12:01 AM.  Even if you do not receive the email, you can always head over to Two Writing Teachers to find the daily call.

In happier news, I am pleased to announce our first-ever Slicer baby arrival!  On March 11th, blogger shaggerspicchu gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Marlowe.  Her friend and fellow Slicer, Jennifer Kesler, blogged about here (with pictures).  We can’t wait to have you back next year, shauggerspicchu.  Enjoy these precious first few weeks with Marlowe. Congratulations from all us in this writing community.
