ANNOUNCEMENTS

Only five more days after today!

BE INSPIRED

BE INSPIRED.

Take some inspiration today from this beautiful post by screech33 on her blog, Screech33.  In her post, She’s Also Taught Me Some Things, the writer muses about all the things her young daughter has taught her.  Perhaps her words will inspire you to think about the teachers in your life.

 QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I pretty much drink a cup of coffee, write in my journal for a while, and then sit at a computer in my office and torture the keys. My one saving grace as a writer is that, if I’m having trouble with the novel I’m writing, I write something else, a poem or a short story. I try to avoid writer’s block by always writing something.”   ~Jess Walter

  1. I can’t believe we’re nearing the end of the month! WOW! My goal is to make it around to everyone’s blog at least twice. I’m getting closer to that point, but with only five days left I have a lot more reading to do! 🙂

ANYWAY, here’s my slice, which is about how we talk to young children about the passing of loved ones. If you have any magic words, please stop by to share them.

    My Grandma is gone.

  2. Here is where this challenge shows the power of writing. There’s a million things going on as we head into spring break. I really don’t have time to write. Yet, it is in the writing that I’m able to begin to sort out what I’m thinking and feeling.
