    1. haha! I was looking to leave comment when I vaguely remembered a comment about that here!
      I like the idea of homeschooling my little girl; not for lack of faith in the school system, as I haven’t looked into it one way or another, but for being able to spend more time with her aaaaand to relearn a lot of the stuff I should have learned while I was daydreaming in class. I’m kind of convinced I had/have ADD.
      But yes, it’s fascinating how many options we have to learn with now! I finished up my BA a couple of years ago but I’m still seeking to learn and grown, hoping that I’ll never stop. I’m hoping to instill that same hunger in my daughter, and hope to show her how not to just learn a bunch of information, but also how to apply it. 🙂

    2. I couldn’t figure out how to comment on your blog, but I enjoyed the post. What you wrote is so true. I think it’s also the hardest thing to teach, at least in elementary. The kids would rather just remember and regurgitate.
