Day 14 of the March SOLSC! #SOL15

Write, Share, Give
Write, Share, Give

ANNOUNCEMENT

Now that we are almost halfway through the challenge Dana has a special prize for new slicers and a slicer who inspired them! Be sure to check out her post here for the rules and information to be entered to win this special challenge prize. When you leave your comment about the slicer who has inspired you, (new slicers only) please do not leave that comment on the Daily Call for Slices. Leave that comment on Dana’s post, here.

BE INSPIREDBE INSPIRED.

Robin Sheldon, from Teaching Tomorrow’s Leaders, tried out a new digital tool called PicMonkey. She wrote a slice, Ice Frosted Trees, inspired by her drive to work. A wintery poem resulted. Be inspired to write a poem about an image from your day!

 QUOTE OF THE DAY

“It is by sitting down to write every morning that one becomes a writer.” -Gerald Brenan

Or every evening! Either way, you are fourteen days into your writing life.

    1. Well done! I loved the time you took to set the reader up for a descriptive setting and time through clothing and such. Most of all you glided the reader to the church pulling us all in through traditions common to so many people. The song is one of my favorites as a piano practice piece and a round with my sister. Thank you for the memory after a long day.
