ANNOUNCEMENTS

It’s the seventh day of our month-long challenge, but the first day of our Weekend Commenting Challenge.  ICYMI: Check out Dana’s post about the commenting challenge. Hope you’ll participate!

Also, if you haven’t done so already, please send Bonnie Kaplan a photo of your writing space (with or without you in it) by this evening.  For more details, check out Thursday’s post if you’d like to participate.

SPRING FORWARD before you go to sleep tonight.  Eastern Daylight Time begins on Sunday, March 8th. Posts will need to be linked by 11:59 p.m. EDT starting tomorrow.

BE INSPIRED

BE INSPIRED.Kevin Hodgson has been part of the Slice of Life Story Challenge since the beginning — 2008. In that time, I’ve learned a lot about digital writing from Kevin.  If you’re looking for ideas about weaving technology and writing together, then you should follow his blog, Kevin’s Meandering Mind!

That said, I recently learned about Super after reading one of Kevin’s Tweets (or was it something he posted on Flickr?).  In late February, he composed a short slice of life using the Super App.  Click here to view “Ice Falls” now.

 QUOTE OF THE DAY

“Write. Remember people may keep you (or me) from being a published author, but no one can stop you from being a writer. All you have to do is write. And keep writing. While you’re working at a career, while you’re raising your children, while you’re trout fishing — keep writing! No one can stop you, but you.” –Katherine Neville
