  1. As December, 2014, winds down, thinking of all the holidays, travel, and fun . . . a quick reflection on my ten days with the kids! Fabulous holiday!

  2. Hello Everybody,
I’m back after a long hiatus. This post is about my New Year’s resolution and some other discoveries that can only be made by writing regularly. That means that I will be here every Tuesday. Oh, and I’ve revived my wordpress blog for personal and non-professional kinds of writing. ateachersruminations.blogspot.com will still be for professional purposes, so sometimes I will post from there and at other times, I will use my wordpress blog.

  3. I adore your Eliot quote: “For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.

And I warn readers that my piece on revision is not short. The luxury of vacation prompts more writing time…this is definitely a beginning:

  4. Happy Eve of New Year’s Eve. With this in mind, I penned a post,”Stepping Back Before Going Forward,” as my offering. It can be found at http://beyondliteracylink.blogspot.com/2014/12/stepping-back-before-going-forward.html.

Since it is #AwesomeTuesday I also ask that the Slice of Writers peruse the Finding Fall Gallery to view a reflective look at Fall by a host of writers (some of which are part of this community or have been). Consider joining me in the next gallery collection that will be announced soon.

  5. Here’s my slice for the week – a family project to decorate our new house: http://readwritethinkgrow.blogspot.com/2014/12/im-gonna-make-this-place-your-home-sols.html

I also posted about my OLW for 2015 yesterday, and it seems OLW often comes up in the slicing community, so I thought I would share for those interested in seeing: http://readwritethinkgrow.blogspot.com/2014/12/one-little-word-2015-core.html

I hope everyone has a Happy New Year!
