SOLS and an Invitation

Tuesday after Tuesday, we return to this community of writers to share our stories and to practice the art of narrative writing.  Now, Betsy is offering us another opportunity to strengthen our craft and to share our writing: a writing critique group!  Perhaps you want to bounce some writing ideas off someone, or maybe you need a critical ear to listen to your writing?  In case you missed Betsy’s post, click here to read it.  Be sure to fill out the Google Form in Betsy’s post by June 17th to be placed in a writing group.  These writing groups will offer another supportive and honest community in which to grow as writers.

SOLSC ButtonThen, write your Slice of Life Story, share your link, and give at least 3 comments to other SOLS bloggers.

    1. What fun!
I did a presentation on book clubs as a new form of play dates for kids. Shoot me an email if you’d like the handouts from it. Maybe some of it could help as you plan for the mother-daughter book club.

  1. This quote got me through the post interview job search phase of last night to start me fresh this am….”Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”
