What a fantastic first day we had yesterday! I’m happy you’re back for day two of the Seventh Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!

If you’re commenting before 6:00 a.m. EST, would you please take a moment to go back to yesterday’s post and comment on a someone’s blog post who linked after 6:00 p.m. EST? Often the folks who leave their links in the last quarter of the day receive the fewest comments. Therefore, it would be great if you’d take a moment to give at least one of these later-day slicers a comment. THANK YOU!

Please use the SAME email/username information on all of your March comments. This makes tracking the number of slice of life stories you write more manageable for Robin, our Giveaway Guru.
In order to be in the running for a prize at the end of the month, you must leave the link to your slice of life story by 11:59 p.m. EST.

- Please play fair and leave only one link each day.
If you’ve never posted a comment on TWT before, or if your comment contains more than one hyperlink, then your comment will be held for moderation. I will monitor blog comments a few times today so I can approve comments that don’t post automatically. Therefore, there is no need to re-post your comment if it doesn’t appear after you click “post comment.”

BE INSPIRED:

Kevin Hodges (@dogtrax) has been participating in the Slice of Life Story Challenge since 2008. Over the seven years I’ve known Kevin, I’ve only seen him in person twice (at NCTE)! Kevin is my go-to person for tech-related questions since he is one of the most tech savvy people I know.

I regularly find inspiration from Kevin’s slices since he uses a variety of digital storytelling tools. A recent slice of life he composed, “A Bright Wire,” utilized SoundCloud and Storybird to tell a story. If you’d like to experiment with digital storytelling tools, check out and “A Bright Wire” and/or follow Kevin’s posts during the Challenge. I’m confident he’ll be sharing slices of his life using lots of different digital media this month.
