5. I like the new page. Some of my pre-service teachers will be slicing as part of one of my courses winter term, so it comes at a perfect time as I get ready to introduce the idea to them in January.

30. I have used Five Minute Friday as a quick write with my students. Today it saved me from a blank screen sadness. (It’s the feeling you get, when it is Tuesday, you wish to write a slice of life, yet you have stared at a blank screen for a very long time)

The link you posted here is actually the url for your entire blog. As soon as you publish another post, people will have to scroll around to find your slice of life post, which is frustrating.
