Slice of Life & RSVP

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

~Maya Angelou

I am thankful to be hosting the Slice of Life Story Challenge on Tuesdays during the month of November.  Writing Slice of Life Stories is what brought me to the Two Writing Teachers website so many years ago, so it is with joy that I now ask you to

write your slice, share your link, and give some comments to (at least three) other slicers.

Also, if you are planning on attending the Slicer Breakfast at NCTE, please RSVP to Stacey no later than Thursday, November 14th.  You can email her at stacey@staceyshubitz.com.  Breakfast will be on Saturday, November 23rd at 8:00 A.M.  Once Stacey has the head count, she will email the name and address of the restaurant, which will be within walking distance from the Sheraton Boston.  Thank you.

If you're leaving your comment early in the day, please consider returning this evening or tomorrow to read some of our evening posters' slices.

  1. Can’t wait to come back and read a few posts this week! I have thought over and over again about how to get my reading intervention students engaged with SOLC. I haven’t come up with an answer today, but I have taken a step in that I DID find a way to engage them in the 30 Days of Thankfulness! I would love it if you would check it out and I will share any comments with the kids tomorrow! 🙂 http://jenbaum-laughoftenlovemuch.blogspot.com/2013/11/day-5-e.html
