An honest reflection about Screen Free Week. At first I thought I failed miserably, but then I realized that my failures were actually learning opportunities.

Stacey,
I love how honest you are here and think the idea of reduced screen time is a good one. I struggle with the fact that so much of my reading and writing is done on screen….and I view those as daily necessaries in my life! How do we balance screen time and still do the things we love…reading and writing. Is all screen time evil?

Lee Ann,
What I LOVE about this post is that you saw this student for who HE is and you honored his passion. There are so many Bryan’s out there who go unnoticed.
Thanks for posting!

Definitely not all of it is evil! In fact, I think so much of it makes us more efficient. It’s when it takes over our ability to care for others that it goes south.

Morning Everyone,
I am just about ready to pack for home. In fact, Tuvia is at it now and soon will be pushing me off the couch. Of course the sun is shining as we leave, and probably warm out there as well. It’s been a fantastic two weeks in Finland and soon the documentary will be created and up on You tube. I’ve learned so much. Yes, we do have a lot to learn from Finland but even more we have our issues that are being swept under the rug. POVERTY! Finland has 3.2 we have 21.3%
Anyway, I have a lot to think about on my 8 hour ride home.
Enjoy your day,
Bonnie
