  1. I’m playing a social studies teacher in the classroom this year–scary!!! Next year I will be back to just ela. Here are some poems I threw together to help my students help keep straight emperors, conquistadors, and liberators. Now that I put together the words, “emperors, conquistadors, and liberators”, I realize I am in need of a refrain. I might just have to rap them tomorrow. No, I will not record that event.
